Purpose

Testigo provides guidance on possible car faults based on records with public sources and on analyses generated by artificial intelligence.

Nature of the information

The information is for guidance only and does not replace a diagnosis by a qualified garage. We do not guarantee that a stated cause is your car's actual fault or that the quoted costs are up to date.

With any symptom that affects safety, stop the car in a safe place and call for assistance.

Use of artificial intelligence

Fault analyses and their translations are generated by an artificial intelligence system, not by a person, and each report says so.

The AI can make mistakes or give incomplete information. Always check the report with a qualified garage before repairing the car or deciding whether to keep driving.

Terms of use

You agree to use Testigo lawfully: not to enter other people's data without their permission, not to try to bypass the usage limits, and not to access it in an automated, large-scale way or try to damage or overload the service.

We may limit the number of analyses, modify or suspend the service temporarily or permanently, and block access for anyone who breaches these terms.

Liability

Testigo is offered free of charge and as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from decisions taken solely on the basis of the guidance on the site.

This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, nor does it restrict the rights granted to you by mandatory consumer protection rules.

Brands and sources

Brands and model names are mentioned only to identify the vehicles. They belong to their owners, who have no connection with Testigo.

Each record links to its original sources, whose content belongs to their authors.

The design, texts and code of Testigo belong to its owner. 3D models by other authors are used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence and are credited next to the viewer and in the "3D model credits" list on this page, with their author and link. The PDF font is an adapted version of Liberation Sans, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Applicable law

This site is governed by Romanian law and European Union law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may go to the courts of your place of residence where consumer law allows it.

Before starting any claim, you can write to us at testigoauto@gmail.com to try to resolve the problem amicably.

The 3D viewer uses these models by other authors, published on Sketchfab under the licence Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0):

Testigo has modified all these models: it has removed logos, changed their scale, orientation, materials and textures, and simplified or separated parts to animate them. Their authors are not connected with Testigo and do not endorse this site.

The photos in the car catalogue are by other authors and come from Wikimedia Commons, under free licences that allow their use:

Testigo has cropped and resized these photos and, in some of them, blurred number plates or filled the edges with a blurred copy of the same photo. Photos under a CC BY-SA licence are shared, with these changes, under the same licence. Their authors have no connection with Testigo and do not endorse this site.
