No air from any vent because snow has built up at the blower inlet (Qashqai J11 and X-Trail T32)Climate control
- Engine / equipment
- Cabin blower air inlet, under the scuttle panel: Nissan Qashqai J11 and X-Trail T32
- Period mentioned
- 2014–2020
- Symptoms
- No air comes out of any of the vents; there may be snow in and around the blower motor air inlet, behind the scuttle panel.
- Possible cause described
- Nissan explains in two US bulletins (NTB19-080 for the 2014–2020 Rogue T32, and NTB20-098 for the 2017–2018 Rogue Sport J11, the Qashqai sold there) that snow can build up in the blower air inlet behind the scuttle panel and stop air flow from every vent. To prevent it, Nissan fits filters in the scuttle panel and at the wiper pivots.
- Check for the garage
- Clear snow from the base of the windscreen before setting off. If there is still no air, the bulletin says to clean snow, water and debris from the blower inlet, clean or replace the blower motor, replace its resistor if it does not work at every speed and fit the filters if the car does not have them.

Noisy climate control blower or water dripping onto the driver’s carpet after a car wash (X-Trail T32)Climate control
- Engine / equipment
- Cabin blower and the scuttle area: Nissan X-Trail T32
- Period mentioned
- 2014–2020
- Symptoms
- The climate control blower is noisy, or water drips onto the driver’s side carpet after going through a car wash.
- Possible cause described
- According to Nissan bulletin NTB20-090a (USA, December 2020) for the 2014–2020 Rogue T32, debris gets into the blower or builds up in the scuttle area. For the noise, the blower motor is removed and cleaned, an air intake cover is fitted and filters are added at the wiper pivots; for the water, the scuttle panel and wiper linkage are removed and the debris in that area is cleaned out.
- Check for the garage
- Clear leaves from the base of the windscreen. If the blower is noisy or water drips on the carpet, have the blower inlet and the scuttle area cleaned as the bulletin describes.

Applies if: Four-wheel drive (4x4) only. US bulletin for the Rogue and Rogue Sport built in Japan up to 2019; ask a Nissan dealer whether it applies to your car.
Vibration or judder from the rear when turning slowly on dry roads (Qashqai J11 and X-Trail T32 with four-wheel drive)Transmission
- Engine / equipment
- Electric controlled coupling of the rear final drive and the AWD control unit: Nissan Qashqai J11 and X-Trail T32 4x4
- Period mentioned
- 2014–2020
- Symptoms
- Vibration or judder from the rear of the car when turning, on dry roads and at low speed (below about 65 km/h, 40 mph).
- Possible cause described
- According to Nissan bulletin NTB20-069 (USA, September 2020) for the 2014–2020 Rogue T32 and the 2017–2019 Rogue Sport J11 with AWD, the vibration stops if the rear final drive coupling is electrically disconnected; the fix is to replace that coupling, replace the AWD control unit if its part number requires it and write its characteristic data.
- Check for the garage
- Tell the garage when it happens (turning, slowly, on dry roads). Following the bulletin, they check whether the vibration stops with the rear coupling disconnected before replacing parts.
