Brake Switch A Circuit
The brake pedal switch turns on the brake lights and tells the ECU you are braking, so it cuts the throttle and switches off cruise control.
What the car has detected
The switch’s two signals do not agree: the switch is broken or out of adjustment, or a bulb or fuse has failed.
If the brake lights do not come on, drivers behind cannot see you braking: there is a risk of being rear-ended. Check the lights now and get it fixed as soon as possible.
