Emergency

For garages.

Customers who arrive with a clear symptom, the codes already read and a checked quote.

In preparation

We are preparing a service for independent garages. It is not available yet and has no date, terms or price so far. If you are interested, sign up your garage and we will let you know when there is something concrete.

What already works today: your customers can bring you their garage sheet. See how to read it

Quote
Checked: they already know what this repair usually costs.

Guidance, not a verdict.

Less time guessing.

What you hear at the front desk today, and how the same customer would arrive with Testigo.

Symptoms

At the front desk today: “It’s making a strange noise, I don’t know where from.”

With Testigo: Metallic noise when braking, front right wheel, for the last two weeks.

Codes

At the front desk today: “An orange light came on.”

With Testigo: Check engine light on and two codes already read: P0401 and P0299. You confirm them with your own equipment.

Price

At the front desk today: “Why is it so expensive?”

With Testigo: They have already seen what the repair usually costs, so your quote makes sense to them and gets argued over less.

Nearby

At the front desk today: Picks a garage at random online.

With Testigo: Sees the signed-up garages in their area and chooses for themselves.

Trust

At the front desk today: “Did that really need replacing?”

With Testigo: They know you are the one who confirms the fault, and they understand why you start looking there.

When a customer brings you their sheet.

With every report, Testigo prepares a garage sheet. This is how to read it, in the order it is written.

  1. Open it on your phone

The customer shows you a QR code. Scan it with the camera and the sheet opens in your browser, with the headings in your phone's language. You can print it or save it as a PDF.

  2. Start with the symptom and the codes

That is what the customer has noticed and what they have read with their OBD2 adapter or noted down themselves. Confirm it with your equipment: a code points to a system, not to a part.

  3. The causes are hypotheses, in order

They go from most to least likely for that car and those symptoms. They are not a diagnosis: they tell you where to start, not what to replace.

  4. “What to check first” has a source

If a cause is based on a Testigo entry, you will see its check and a link to the entry, with its bulletins, recalls or documented cases.

  5. Recalls and prices, no surprises

If there is an official recall on the same system, it is worth checking it against the VIN. Any prices the customer sees come only from sourced entries: if your quote is different, explain why.

ExampleTry it with your phone

Scan the code to see a sheet with an invented case, just as a customer would show it to you.

Free, with no account and nothing to install. The sheet is not stored by Testigo: it travels inside the code.

No small print.
