Possible cause described
L'argus (July 2015) lists on the 1.6 TDI common rail a lack of power after a cold start, cured with the EGR valve's vacuum hose. On the same engine it names the EGR valve for warning lights and rough running from 1/1 to 30/4/2014 (EGR solenoid valve or cooler) and the turbo or the recirculation valve for loss of power.
Check for the garage
Have the garage check the EGR vacuum hose (cracked, loose or gone soft) and test the EGR with the diagnostic tool before replacing the turbo.
