Symptoms

The yellow engine warning light comes on and “Check AdBlue: no engine start in 1,000 km” appears, even though the AdBlue tank has enough.

Possible cause described

According to the ADAC, after the 23R7 action software that message can appear even with a full tank; the cause is the diagnostic software of the SCR system. It is fixed with another software update and the NOx sensor, the air mass meter and the coolant regulator are replaced free. The car can still be used, but every yellow engine warning should be taken seriously.

Check for the garage

Go to a brand garage with the VIN so they apply the update and change the parts of the action; do not ignore the message and check the AdBlue level.
