1.5 dCi injection warning light from the cylinder pressure sensor (Duster)Injection / turbo
Engine / equipment
Dacia Duster 1.5 dCi (K9K) from 2017
Period mentioned
2017 onwards
Symptoms
Injection warning light on and a «Check injection» message; the car usually drives normally. Fault codes 03DB12 or 03DB25 («cylinder pressure sensor out of range»).
Possible cause described
The cylinder pressure sensor is not tightened correctly or the injection ECU has faulty software. Dacia technical note 66633 says to retighten it to the manufacturer's torque and update the ECU, usually without replacing parts.
Check for the garage
Read the codes with diagnostic equipment compatible with Renault and Dacia; if 03DB12 or 03DB25 appear, ask the garage about technical note 66633 before replacing injectors or sensors.

Constant whine in the cabin from the 1.5 Blue dCi fuel pumpFuel system
Engine / equipment
1.5 Blue dCi (K9K) in Dacia models
Period mentioned
2018–2019
Symptoms
A continuous high-pitched whine inside the car, like a computer fan, that does not change when accelerating.
Possible cause described
According to Dacia's note to its dealers reported by L'argus, the noise comes from the fuel pump, whose tank pump-and-sender module was badly designed. The supplier modified it and the new part has been fitted at the factory since 30/9/2019.
Check for the garage
Check that the noise does not change with engine speed and ask the garage to listen around the fuel tank before replacing the turbo or the fan.

Creaking when pressing the clutch caused by a non-conforming batch of slave cylindersTransmission
Engine / equipment
Dacia models with a manual gearbox
Period mentioned
2018–2020
Symptoms
A creak or "crack" every time the clutch pedal is pressed; the gears engage normally.
Possible cause described
A non-conforming batch of clutch slave cylinders was fitted from 1/10/2018 to 7/1/2020 (TL4, TL6, TL8 and TLX gearboxes) or up to 10/2/2020 (JH3, JR5 and JXX). The Renault and Dacia technical note reported by L'argus says to replace it with a new part number, after comparing the noise with a recording from the brand. It is not a recall.
Check for the garage
Record the noise on your phone while pressing the clutch and show it to the garage, which compares it with the brand's recording before replacing the whole clutch.

AdBlue pump damaged by a non-conforming module sealExhaust and emissions (AdBlue)
Engine / equipment
1.5 Blue dCi (K9K) in the Sandero II, Logan II, Duster II, Dokker and Lodgy
Period mentioned
2019–2021
Symptoms
Engine and/or AdBlue warning light and a "refill AdBlue, no start in X km" message that keeps appearing even after refilling.
Possible cause described
The seal of the urea (AdBlue) pump module does not conform and ends up damaging the pump. It affects cars built from 1/1/2019 to 31/7/2021. Since June 2023, Dacia has run action 0E0K, which replaces the pump and its seal free of charge on cars under 5 years and 200,000 km, but only if the customer complains.
Check for the garage
If the warning stays after refilling AdBlue, do not wait for the countdown: ask the dealer for action 0E0K (urea pump and seal) before paying for other AdBlue repairs.

"Check injection" message on the LPG 1.0 ECO-G, fixed with a new calibrationIntake / engine management
Engine / equipment
1.0 TCe ECO-G (petrol and LPG) in the Sandero III, Duster II and Jogger
Period mentioned
2020–2022
Symptoms
"Check injection" message with the orange warning light on, especially when running on LPG.
Possible cause described
Dacia fixes it with a special technical operation (since September 2022) for Sandero, Duster and Jogger ECO-G cars built from 30/6/2020 to 1/11/2022: a new injection calibration by reprogramming, without replacing parts, according to L'argus.
Check for the garage
Note whether it happens on LPG or petrol, and in hot weather. At the dealer, ask about the special recalibration operation before replacing injectors or the LPG reducer.

Symptoms
A fuel smell in the engine bay or petrol stains; in the worst case, fuel leaking in the engine bay.
Possible cause described
The fuel-line connections could be defective on cars built from 13/2/2020 to 25/9/2021. Dacia replaces the line in under an hour (recall published by the ÖAMTC).

Rust on the underside, wheels and 12 V battery of the Dacia SpringBodywork
Engine / equipment
Dacia Spring electric
Period mentioned
2021–2023
Symptoms
Fully rusted rear reinforcements, rust on the battery tray and lower casing, 14-inch wheels that rust and crack, and acid leaks from the 12 V battery that corrode the right front side member.
Possible cause described
The rear reinforcements lacked electro-galvanising (fixed on 15/11/2022), the lid seal or an over-tightened clamp let acid out of the 12 V battery (modified from 18/9/2023) and the wheels did not meet the design (new part from 15/9/2023). Dacia knows about it through internal technical notes; there is no recall.
Check for the garage
Check the underside, the battery tray and the area around the 12 V battery; ask for the repair under the warranty (3 years or 100,000 km) or the 6-year anti-corrosion warranty.
Cost cited in the source

Engine / equipment
Third-generation Dacia Duster and Bigster
Period mentioned
2026
Symptoms
The car sags at the rear; a broken spring can fall onto the road.
Possible cause described
Dacia recalled 6,275 Dusters and Bigsters built from 9/1 to 25/2/2026 (campaign 0F8W, KBA 16608R) for a geometric non-conformity of the rear springs: they are replaced at the garage. Renault said no customer had reported a case.
Check for the garage
Check campaign 0F8W by VIN; if the car sags at the rear, do not drive it and call the garage.

Period mentioned
2020–2021
Symptoms
A bonnet that vibrates or does not shut firmly; in the worst case it opens while driving and blocks the view.
Possible cause described
The bonnet striker wire may be defective or its support may crack, and the bonnet could open while driving. Rapex alert 21/2021 (Dacia campaign 0DLP, 24,950 Logan and Sandero cars worldwide); for the Logan, cars built in Pitești from 5/11/2020 to 23/12/2020. The repair takes a little over four hours if the inspection finds the defect.
Check for the garage
Check campaign 0DLP by VIN at a Dacia dealer; pull on the closed bonnet to make sure it has no play.

Hard gear changes, LPG injection warning and hybrid gearbox sealing on the JoggerGearbox
Engine / equipment
Dacia Jogger (1.0 TCe, 1.0 TCe ECO-G LPG and Hybrid 140)
Period mentioned
2022–2025
Symptoms
With the manual gearbox, gears that are hard to engage and clutches that fail early; on the ECO-G, an “injection fault” message and warning light; on the Hybrid 140, a gearbox that overheats or misbehaves.
Possible cause described
L’argus’s buyer’s guide records owners of manual versions complaining that gears are hard to engage, which Dacia fixes by reprogramming the engine ECU (campaign EEB3: too little torque reaches the gearbox during the change; according to the Romanian press, clutches damaged by it are replaced under warranty); a 2022 campaign for the “injection à contrôler” message on the LPG versions; and a 2025 one to check the sealing of the 1.6 hybrid gearbox, whose failure can make it overheat or malfunction.
Check for the garage
Ask by VIN whether the EEB3, LPG and hybrid-gearbox campaigns were done; try every gear from cold; look for oil residue under the hybrid gearbox.
