- Engine / equipment
- Fourth-generation Renault Master electric (Master E-Tech Electric) built from 12/4/2024 to 7/5/2025
- Period mentioned
- 2024–2025
- Symptoms
- When P is pressed, the vehicle is switched off, the driver’s seat belt is released or the driver’s door is opened, the vehicle may not lock in P and can roll on a slope.
- Possible cause described
- According to alert 39/2025 of the European Safety Gate system (OR/00145/25), the position sensor of the parking-brake actuator is fitted at the wrong angle, so the locking pin does not sit in the “P lock” position. This raises the risk of an accident, although the assisted parking brake (APB) still works and can hold the vehicle. Renault campaign 0EY9 also covers the Austral, Captur, Espace, Mégane E-Tech, Rafale, Scénic E-Tech and Symbioz.
